Edgar P. Roberts, Jr., ChFC, CLU
Edgar was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School. He earned his B.A. from UNC at Chapel Hill in 1975; his M.A. from Wake Forest University in 1979; and his Ph.D. from Northern Arizona University in 1984.
Edgar passed his life insurance license exam in 1984, and has been a full-time agent with National Life Insurance Company ever since. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1988, and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1995. Edgar specializes in retirement plan design (qualified and non-qualified), estate planning strategies, business insurance, and personal insurance and has obtained the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 registrations.
Edgar is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Estate Planning Council of Winston-Salem. He is a Qualifying & Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.*
Some of Edgar's hobbies include golf, woodworking, and stamp collecting.
